Crumbled Leaf Thanksgiving Art

It's fall, and here that means falling leaves! And at our new house, there are TONS of leaves!!! Today Busy and I went on a walk to collect dried leaves for our project. The Beans will get to do one after nap as well :)

What you need:
1. a plastic baggie
2. dried leaves (the crunchier, the better)
3. paper
4. glue

What to do:
1. Collect a bag full of leaves
2. crumble the leaves in the baggie by mushing it
3. On the paper, draw a picture of your choice in white glue (we did pumpkins)
4. sprinkle the crumbled leaves on the glue
5. shake off the excess leaf pieces back in the bag
6. Let the glue dry and hang your leaf picture as Thanksgiving decoration!

  1. This is one of our favorite fall activities! I love the pumpkin shape idea - totally goes with the seasonal theme :)

    1. Thanks Emma! We love this activity too and do it quite a bit in the fall. There's something so gratifying about the crunching and crumbling of dried leaves :)
